M340 quad exhaust

With the rounded parallelogram shape of the stock exhaust tips and bumper, I was curious what aftermarket exhausts would end up looking like. I much prefer a round tip, and the recent M8 reveal shows this would still look really good if someone was willing to go with a more traditional quad round style.

Thoughts?!

To all those asking for more info - I had a set of 3.5" universal tips (single in to dual out on each side) laying around.

The oem pipe behind had to be cut back a couple inches and the tips were welded in. The oem pipe isn't perfectly rounded so universal tips cant just be slid on. Requires some custom fab work.

A decent exhaust shop should be able to figure it out.

Thanks a lot for sharing this info. Would you by any chance have another pic taken straight on from the back?

Quad tips look so much better to me.
Does anyone know what the upcoming Dinan Exhaust tips will look like? The teaser video had them burred out. I assume black or silver but what diameter I wonder?

Akrapovic's Z4 M40i exhaust should provide a hint as to how their M340i system will look when it comes out.
