What "Hey BMW" commands have you been using?

It just occurred to me that I'm not using this potentially amazing feature because I didn't have anything like it on my F30. But where do I start? I know you can tell it a destination, but what are some other useful commands you guys have been using?

I call mine Jarvis. I use it more for climate and seat heating than anything else.

To find a song I can't find from the 1000 or so on my USB drive.

To turn on my seat heaters when I'm too lazy to click the button which is within arms reach.... lol

To find a place I'm looking for or just tell it the address I want to go to.

Or lastly, just to show people that you can talk to it and it'll listen to your commands or do what you ask, they usually get amused and think it's cool.

Whoa! It indexes your USB music and lets you search via voice?! That is awesome. I have a stick with about 5,000 songs and just leave it on perpetual shuffle because I never feel like navigating the list.

Yep, you can search for a song or album using 'hey bmw'. Extremely convenient when I want to find that one song that I just GOT to hear lol

Silly question, but what syntax do you use? "Hey BMW, Play Abbey Road"?

Does the search command only work if you are already listening to USB audio?

Not sure if it only works while using the USB, since I only use the command when I'm listening to music on the USB. Good question though I'll have to try it out.

Also, I just say play ____ album or play *song name*

If it doesn't work the first few times just try it till it learns that you are trying to use the command. Then it should remember for future use.

This is a really good point. Its a continuous learning service so the more you use the better itll be at learning what you want.

I pretty much exclusively use it for navigation. So much faster to say "Hey BMW, directions to __" then to go through the menu and type in the location.

I asked mine to tell me a joke and got the response "surely your not bored, have you tried Sport mode?" And the sport display popped up
