Hello all!

I was just wondering what the process is for a transmission turn for the m340. Do you need the ecu unlocked? Or how would you go about it?

DME is for your engine tune only. You can flash your transmission with XHP, no unlocking or anything required. You can also pay for a custom tune if you’d like as well. I’ve seen good things from Sutphintuning. I’ll probably pay for one of his eventually. For now I have mine flashed to stage 3 with some custom settings I’ve tweaked to my liking.

The TCU is also locked and xHP will take of the unlock in the first flash.
For this reason you need a D-CAN adapter for the first flash.
After that you can use any ENET adapter.

There are three adapters that support D-CAN and ENET ;-)
The MHD Universal WiFi adapter ist one of them.

Faster shifting, torque limiters increased for us people who are tuned, more response in general, ignition cut shifting, coding out 1st gear since its useless for us rwd people, etc..

Custom launch control is also very fun to play with.
