Sport + all the time.
If I am running low on gas, I find a station.

Sport+ is a very specific thing for me. Standard Sport usually does the trick without having to worry that the car sounds like an angry lawn mower.

For Dallas metro driving, Sport-Individual suits me best, where I can soften the engine, firm up the suspension and bump up the tranny.

After having my G20 for a few months, I find I drive in sport individual for anything not on the highway. I’m not a fan of comfort mode in traffic or low speeds due to the transmission shifting to higher gear WAY too early. It’s annoying. The transmission settings on sport individual is perfect.

Not sure if I am making a mistake and should be driving in sport mode all the time to truly enjoy the car. If that's what everyone here does it would sway me to do the same lol.
Nope.

Will only stick it in Sport if I have an overtake coming up

When I first got my 330i I was putting it in 'adaptive' and never noticed any change. Either I a man missing something or I am a sedate driver. The latter, I think....

I always drive in Comfort mode. Feels great nice and relaxing.. if I'm in the mood for some spirited driving I'll wait until the cars at operating temperature and than place it in sport.. I like to keep my RPM's low for the first 10 mins of my drive until the oil warms up...

Almost always in Sport Individual (steering and suspension set to comfort and engine and transmission set to Sport).

I do in my F30 340i... in comfort the throttle response simply isn't sharp enough and the steering is too light!

IMO cars shouldn't have these drive modes I just see them as a gimmick! You should control the throttle with your right foot not a button on the dash!! If you want gentle acceleration just press more gently with your right foot

I don't want to have to get in my car and push a button every time just to get 'proper' throttle response! This is a sports sedan after all.

I typically toggle between Eco, Comfort and Sport Individual; it really depends on traffic conditions.

Driving in Eco Pro or Comfort in bumper-to-bumper LA traffic with start/stop active is more or less an exercise of being less wasteful.

Sport vs Sport +

Can someone please tell me the difference between these two sports modes? When I try to google this it seems all the articles that come up are from years back pre M340 model. I know in my old 340 sport + automatically shut off traction control but it seems sport + in the M340 does not disengage traction control unless I'm somehow missing that? I don' see the light come one that indicates traction control is off. Any insight would be much appreciated...

Usually first 5 minutes on comfort to warm up.

Then sports individul for fun driving where roads aren't perfect:
Engine sport plus
Suspension comfort
Steering comfort
Tranmisison sport (to avoid holding gears too much)

On good roads mostly sports + with Tranmisison in S and traction on dynamic mode ( 1 click)

Highway with cruise control is always Eco pro.

My average mpg is 17ish, but I work from home and only drive around town and is my only car.

Car has about 5k miles right now.

Think it’s better for the car to be warmed up in Comfort taking it easy, or Sport + shifting below 4k rpms until the engine is nice and warm?

Probably doesn’t make a difference eh?

I always warm up in comfort just for the low shifts.

Sport Individual is my new default.

Everything on comfort except steering and engine which are in sport/sport+

Love having the suspension and transmission in comfort for the terrible roads and traffic of Sydney! But still want the noise and feel to make the drive less mundane (who am I kidding, it's never mundane in the G20!)

I drive in comfort 80% of the time. I don't see the point in engaging sport unless there's a fun and open road in front of me. In traffic it's just unnecessarily jerky and aggressive, like a caged beast.

But when there's an opportunity to go for it and I'm alone in the car, I never miss the chance!
