Tetragon or Aluminum Trim with Oyster interior?
I'm having a hard choice between the two with an Oyster interior. Any pictures of them?

If you only want to choose from the two, go with aluminum. The tetragon pattern isn't textured and makes me dizzy looking at it.

i had tetragon in an F30 and have seen it in person on a G20 many times.... Went with regular aluminum in my G20
The tetragon will eventually make you think its cheap and gimmicky looking. It just looks cheap even though its still aluminum after a while. Get the regular aluminum and it'll never look weird. |

Go with open pore wood, the aluminum trims look pretty fake in my opinion.

Agree with the rest of the statements. Open pore oak would look great with oyster, but I think the open pore maple would look good as well. I wasn't a fan of the tetragonal trim, so between the two I'd go with aluminum, but still think the open pore wood looks more classy with oyster leather.

I've got Tetragon / Oyster and I like it... It's not for everyone, wifey isn't a fan (says it looks cheap and likes her oyster/wood, last two photos)

How do you like the Portamo color. I am going to look at one today because of your pictures. I have lost sleep on what color I want and have been on the configurator a 1000 tines. I really want to get away from the blacks, silver and white cars. I currently have three black BMW'S and a graphite 7 series. I really want to go the opposite of what I usually buy.

This is why I went with the Blue tbh. My last thee cars were grey, black, and white. I really love the Portimao Blue color on this car. It pops in the sunlight and still looks very blue at night.

Yeah totally get that. Between the aluminum mesh and tetragonal I like the aluminum better. The tetragonal just seems to busy to me. With that being said, I have test driven the M340i with tetragonal and it still feels really nice. Both of them are definitely still nice trims, I just don't really like the aesthetics of the tetragonal.
