BMW should have taken the design of the 8 series as its "new" design, not this aberration.

I say we just start petitions in our respective states to remove front license plate requirements. That would solve at least half the problem I think. And really, who are they there for? Red light cameras that are manipulated to be revenue generating machines?
Think about it - there are 0 states that require front license plates for motorcycles. So obviously they (the states) are capable of making do without someone having one. |

That was BMWs for the last decade and people still complained it was getting boring. Not saying the 4er design is good or bad, but regardless of which direction BMW goes, there's always going to be those that say BMW should've followed this or that.

And while the E46 is arguably considered the pinnacle of BMW design, if BMW continued that path, we would definitely have the same people who say how boring Audi's look for using pretty much the same design over and over. Regardless of how BMW designs a car, there will always be naysayers.

It's difficult to tell where tow hook mount for the front license plate could be installed. Waiting for the official picture of the front and grill.

Really wondering how these aftermarket grills are going to be. Or would this even be removable?

We see the beauty as enthusiasts, but to the general populous they just see it as an "old BMW".

Hard to imagine them selling a lot of them. I rarely even see a G20. Since it's release I may have seen 3 or 4 only.

This is still the best design of any modern day BMW. Sporty, Aggressive with perfect proportions and without any fake vents/scoops etc. The F80 M3 is a close 2nd.
