Exclamation Advice on taking over M440i lease

I have a friend at work who has a black 2023 M440i X-drive lease
It has about 17 months left on lease
Monthly payment is $540
Residual at lease end is $48k
Car has less than 8k miles so it's good on miles remaining
It was a replacement for a lemon car, which is why it's a 2023 but only 17 months left on lease
It's pretty heavily optioned, im waiting to get the window sticker from him
Is this a good deal?

He also has a 2022 M340i X-drive with 11k miles for 700 monthly payment, 45k residual
Less money down on that one I think , hence the higher payment

$540 for a 2023 M440i xDrive sounds to me like it’s bordering on phenomenal.

In today’s market, a heavily option m440i is going to be almost double this (with zero down). Do the deal now.

I want it!
But damn BMW won't allow 2 lease transfers on the same lease

The current owner took over the lease from his brother in law
That was on the lemon car
Bmw replaced that one with a brand new one
That's the one I'm trying to take over
Will see what BMW says , since this is a different car/VIN etc
Why the hell would they mind how many lease transfers happen?
If I pass the credit Check and they get their money, what difference is it
Will also smooth talk them, both my wife and son have a BMW.
Meanwhile I own an Audi
