330i - Order MY23 now or wait for MY24?

Hello -

So, likely ordering 330i instead of 430i GC that I was originally interested in.

I noted though the 330i MY24 has not been released for ordering yet though - I am checking with lease company.

MY23 already has ID8 and does not have the price increase MY24 has (5%?). But is there any reason to wait for MY24? Does anyone know what changes will come in MY24? Or would BMW anyway change me over to a MY24 if I order [via corporate lease] in the next week or 2?

I don't mind waiting if we're just talking a couple of months, but would like to work out if waiting is worth it or just order MY23.

thanks,
Brett

A bit of research later and I'll just order the MY23 I think -
- save $$
- options seem to be almost the same as 430 GC MY24 - [I didn't know but I guess now BMW iterates the 3 series and then the 4 series]. I guess below stems from 4 series being the 'model up' and so having some adders included -

- remote start is a $ adder in 3x vs 4x
- wireless charging is a $ adder in 3x vs 4x
- 3 series has the access keyless entry it the premium pkg - I guess standard somewhere in the 4x. Premium pkg cheaper on 3 series
- 1 of the options seems to force you to add driving assistance in the 3 series - perhaps parking? - that is a $700 adder vs included std. or 1 of the options I selected in the 4 series. Bit of a bummer.

All being said, seems no real reason to wait for MY24 I can tell/guess.

btw, I noted 1 topic - shadowline pkg is $1300 but shadowline extended trim which darkens the fronts and lights is $300. The $1000 savings there if I only get the shadowline extended trim could be used to get the driver assistant professional as that is only a $1000 delta from the basic driver assistance. Seems like the $1k might be better spent on the professional assistant. Thoughts?

thx

I only see negatives to waiting for a 2024. And since I’m not a fan of the G20 shadowline pkg I’d spend my money on something functional.
