Most Comfortable/Quiet Non-RFT Tires for G20
Hi There,
I have a 2020 G20 330i which came with 225/45R18 PIRELLI CINTURATO P7 ALL SEASON RFTs. I'm want to replace them with the most comfortable/quiet Non-RFT tires that I can find. I live in California and don't drive in snow. What are your recommendations? I called Tirerack and they recommended PIRELLI CINTURATO WEATHERACTIVE. I also looked at MICHELIN PILOT SPORT 4S, but I'm not sure if the extra cost is justified and how they are in comfort/quietness department which is my highest priority. Thanks |

Try a touring tire. All season if you’re in that kind of climate or summer if you can get away with it all year round.

Good advice! I have been debating changing to Michelin Primacy or re-upping my NON run-flat Pirelli Cinturato 7s All Season. To OP, both are Touring tires and offer a smoother & quieter ride than Pilots that are more on the performance side. I just decided that I’m going to stay with my Pirelli non-flats because they have been comfortable and quiet for me. But, you might want to check out the Primacy. For that Tirerack recommendation, you probably don’t need the Weatheractive model because that includes some snow driving. There are good comparison info charts on-line that you can look at between the Cinturato 7 All Season non run-flats and the Primacy. Hope your choice goes well.
