Recently I bought a used 2020 G20 with a cracked and broken weather strip on the driver side mirror. Anyone know if they sell the weather stripping attached to the mirror assembly without buying an entire assembly?

My first thought was the part BMW 51217432203SEAL, OUTER LEFT MIRROR TRIA but that isn't it, next step was the door seal but its not because its attached to the mirror assembly.

You would think this is an easy fix but the part isn't listed anywhere which is sort of sad because what happens when the weather seal fades out and breaks apart, especially long term. every time you have to buy a new mirror assembly? seems horrible. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Did you ever find the part number? I actually went through and ordered the part because I was impatient and I thought to myself that there was no way that that was not it but you’re right. Gonna try and call parts tomorrow

I'm experiencing the same on my 2019 G20. I've been to multiple dealers that suggest replacing both mirrors for this. Over $1k each mirror. Unreasonable for such a tiny weatherstrip. Were any of you able to find a solution?

I’ve let it go for now but was in the same boat where dealer was quoting about 1k per side as well. Not covered under warranty for me.

I'm having this issue on my driver side 2020, I noticed a tint crack starting and lightly poked it and a big chunk shattered! Still have warrenty left is this something the dealer would cover?
