Yellow DRL - G20
I’ve seen all the G8x and G22 yellow DRL conversions. Haven’t been able to find anyone who did the yellow DRL conversion on a G20. Just trying to confirm there is no issue. If nobody has done it, I’ll be a Guinea pig and report back

I want the RGB kit that allows for multiple colors. Haven’t seen anyone with it yet installed. I’ve seen a few with yellow. I’m thinking about taking a gamble here soon.

There are some yellow DRL conversions for G20 already done, I've seen some on tiktok and posted here if you search. My yellow DRL module for laser is coming this week and I plan on installing it this weekend or the one after.

I´ve already done the mod.
It´s not as easy as for the G22 and G8x models.

You either damage your original LED boards or get a second set of modules. Then there´s a screw behind a bracket for the fender. Some say that a really small torx can do the trick but i removed the front and released the headlights and turned them so i could access the screw. Or you just drill a whole through the bracket if you don´t have any warranty left.

Yeah I saw his video. Lol. So, custom tool manufacturing and/or hole drilling are required hahah. I think I’ll hold off for now. They do lol great on dravit though. And I’m STILL jealous of his hood!!

Got this from a guy that has the RGB DRLs. These have to be connected to a switched 12v source.

I have one concern for yellow DRL.
The DRL lights on G20 also act as turn signal which also has yellow color. So if your turn signal is on, is it even going to show properly? I mean, if all 4 DRL lights are already yellow, is one blinking yellow turn signal going to be seen easily by other cars? This can be a safety hazard and cop might pull you over.... |

You´re talking about the LCI right? The LCI has two different light modes for the turn signal. 1. DRL = inner tube will turn off and the outer tube turns amber for the turn signal 2. headlights = inner tube stays on (dimmed?) and the outer tube turns amber for the turn signal.
