Is it possible that some dealers can not order yet? I am working with one that says they can't. Are the allocations limited to certain dealerships?

Actually that's not surprising at all. ALL MANUFACTURERS can produce an SUV or Crossover for cheaper than a sedan. Hence what you see in the market place. While manufacturers say it is customers that are driving the shapes of vehicles ... :

Wait until you see those prices.

If X3M and X3 M comp are base price of $70 and $77k respectively , then G80 models for M3 and M3 come will be in the 80k range easy.

I bet the "pure -base " M3 is 75k and all other models higher. Plus add more for M X-drive

Yeah I'm sure. That sucks. Pure with no options for me since I rip all of them out eventually anyways lol

I think the M3 will very close to the X3M's pricing (likely within $1K of each other), look at X5M vs. M5. Would not be surprised if it was slightly lower, like $69K.

The pure edition will probably look like how much the current M3 costs.

F90, which is $1K more. X5M was more pricey than the F10 M5.

For about 61K you could have a sweet RWD beast. Damn you BMW for not making a 6MT. I'll have to wait for M3 Pure now in a few years.

If you want adaptive suspension, don't forget to at 2VF to your order. Adaptive is a zero cost option but it's not part of the standard equipment.

Maybe this is obvious to people, but this is my first time ordering a car and I almost missed it since I skipped over some of the $0 options I assumed to be standard.

I have ordered an M340i but couldn't order the xi. My dealer had no allocations for that one only the "i" didn't want to wait so went with that.......

I asked for this as part of my order but it didn't show up on Vehicle Inquiry Report after they placed the order. Dealer says it doesn't show up, but it's included. Anyone else get a vehicle inquiry report where this 2VF is explicitly listed?

He said the same thing for WifFi Hotspot (6WD). Part of the build but not on report.

You can always ask for some kind of screen shot of what he is seeing with it included... just blame it on the internet, "ppl online are complaining about it being missed on their orders due to n/c. You only want piece of mind."

2020 BMW M340  [0.00]
My dealer is working on an allocation (since I want to take European Delivery), but using the Ordering & pricing guides, here's what I have for my 2020 M340i:
203Z M340i Xdrive $56,000
??? Blue Ridge Mountain Metallic $1,950
4KA Oak grain open pored $0
MAPQ Cognac Interior $1,450
ZPP & 4HA Premium Pkg $1,750
ZPX Exec Pkg (includes Park Assist Pkg (ZDA) $2,100
1CR Remote start $300
688 Harmon Kardon $875
6NW Wireless charging $500
6WD WiFi Hotspot $0
1PE 790M Wheels & non-RFT all-season tires $0
4UR Ambient Lighting (Included in ZPX Exec Pkg) $0
2VF Adaptive M Suspension $0
316 Power Tailgate $0
300 Space saver spare $0
Destination charge $ 995

Would appreciate any thoughts comments or recommendations since I'm trying to get order in soonest.
Also did I "double tap" anything -- you know is it included in a package?

Thanks!

This is so messed up. I have never seen 0 dollar options on BMW that are meaningful but not included in any packages. Both customers and dealers are not sure what to order.

So - it looks like
- 2VF - Adaptive M suspension and
- 316 - Power tailgate

Are both non standard and not included in any packages?

Looks pretty comprehensive
You realize that with all season tires you are limited to 130 MPH.
If you change your order to performance tires you will get option 840 increased top speed limit and get to 155 German limit.
Could come handy during euro delivery if you don't want Audis passing you on the autobahn

Ilyam5 ,

Very much appreciate you looking it over.

Great Catch! Will either switch to 1PD 18" performance RFT on 790 rim or 1PV 19" performance non-RFT om 792 rim

Anything else?

Thanks!

Could option 840 be coded in at a later date?

No.

it used to be the case that if you buy performance tires and talk to your dealer - they used to be able to open it up during the first 10 hours of ECU. (Weird i know)

But what i'm hearing - now it is locked and can only be changed with order.

I think it is good - you caught the sneaky options mentioned above (M adaptive suspension, power tailgate ).

You individual color - what is it?
i only see

C3Z Tanzanite Blue II metallic as &1950 option. Great color

but might not be available immediately, delayed till after April? (maybe)

Also i see you opted out of assistance pro driving. I know it is not true drivers package but I have it in my X5 and after 15 years of driving manual M cars - it is petty magical. (i know I'm getting old
Self driving and lane keeping in traffic is really well executed by BMW.
It is a major stress release in traffic jams. Go drive an x5 with that feature to see for yourself.
