Luckily they gave me a refund out of the blue a few weeks ago so I did not have to file a dispute. I was really looking forward to the rear diffuser. No wonder they were selling for half the price as others.

This is so crazy. I ordered the gts oled taillights on December 26. Then a carbon/perforated steering wheel like a week later which they had in stock and showed me pics and it met my specs almost exactly and they gave me good deal so instead of waiting 2 months I went with that one. They never sent taillights but thank god PayPal got my refund. I received my steering wheel but when all this shit was going on with taillights and I saw how much bullshit they were feeding me something told me to check the steering wheel more closely. First of all I ordered steering wheel with heat option which was confirmed by them….they sent me one with no heat….2 the trim was full carbon fiber. When I inspected the trim I flipped it over and saw all this glue in the back. They literally glued that cheap thin carbon crap to a oem trim and charged me $200+ extra for the trim. Now they won't refund my money or take back the steering wheel. So now I put my second claim in against them with all the proof sent to PayPal. And now since I found this thread gonna add it to the dispute to show PayPal these guys are crooks. O and had the same thing with the tracking and 1lb package as the op did. Shits crazy. Never again

I hope it works out for you!! They are terrible! If they were in the US I would have filed a complaint to BBB but they are in Canada. I disputed the charge with PayPal and they told PayPal they sent me everything even though it was just one time. I almost lost the claim because PayPal closed my claim. I had to call them and let them allow me to send them the evidence they did not and they reopened it. I talked to a few people on IG and they waited over 6 months so paypal/credit card company won't help them now because it's too late.

You have to submit the evidence with the dispute. I was sending them emails pictures all that in the messages with my dispute. I screenshot all that and just added it to msgs. So they could see what I was saying was true. And just now screenshot your post and sent it to PayPal and showed PayPal that they been doing this to multiple people. To make my case stronger. They got what's coming to them. O and i emailed that same screenshot of your post to automodz and sent them the last email to them letting them kno how big of scumbags they truly are. Thank you for posting this and I'm glad we can warn other people. I'm not big on ig but you should post on there too to warn people. Thank you

I have tried to warn people on IG under their posts, but they quickly delete all the posts. People post on their IG comments all the asking where their stuff is and if you go back like 2 hours later, it's gone.

I just opened a thread asking about this company because I ordered 3 items and have not received any replies to emails for a month.

I wish I had seen this thread before ordering.

Thankfully someone added the link to this thread in the thread I started. I will be initiating a dispute with my CC company.

Absolutely. It just frustrates me that these companies can do this over and over and there is practically nothing you can do. I have had this happen several times over the last 8 months. This happened with CarbonCarz.co.uk last fall and unleashedwheels.com a few months ago.

Why sell a product if you don’t want to deliver the product? If the order is going to take a while then just say so, don’t take my money then refuse to communicate. When I order from tirerack, they will email me immediately and offer me options if something is not in stock and going to take a while. It is not that hard.

Sorry for the rant. Please post other places that we should avoid so others don’t make the same mistakes.

I filed a dispute with them and the day they got the chargeback they sent me an email after 3 weeks of no communication saying they had my order ready but couldn’t send it until after I canceled the dispute.

I hope you didn't close the dispute. If you cancel a dispute with paypal you can't reopen it.

I did not cancel the dispute. I actually paid with a credit card through paypal so it is all through me credit card company and they gave my money back. Automodz is a horrible company and I caution everyone about dealing with them.

Sucks that it happened to you. I ordered a MSS kit for my F95 from Dana port and ended up doing a chargeback because they never shipped out the item.

Man... wish I had read this thread first regarding AUTOMODZ. Currently dealing with a similar issue. They have sent me a 3-piece item but 2 of the pieces are the same. So it won't work for me. Trying to get through to them via IG message (which is how I corresponded originally). Limited response so far. Looking into the Paypal dispute approach. Sucks that people treat you like this when you're just trying to do good business.

I'll hold judgment until I get to a resolution.

Only place that has been reliable when it comes to parts and shipping is ECS tuning

Sadly, I took the recommendation of someone here, so I thought it would be a good transaction. Tbf, the initial interaction with AUTOMODZ was pretty friendly with quick responses. Even after I reported the problem, they said they would expedite a replacement. That was about it. Been over a week now. My $0.02... use a company using a solid website versus an IG account sending you a PayPal invoice. I'll update the outcome.

I received the missing part. Happy I got the painted front lip that I ordered, albeit 2 months later. I didn't inquire on HOW I received two of the same pieces, but clearly somebody didn't QA the shipment. The only remaining gripe is that once the error was discovered, a little more customer service/reassurance that they were ON it to remedy would have been nice. I won't give them ZERO credit. They made it right, and for that, I give them a pass, but YMMV!!

They did offer 15% off and Free Shipping for any additional products for the hassle, but I will put that in my back pocket.
