Strange Body Ding

I must have had a rock or something hit my rear driver's side pillar. I've gotten these kind of dings before on the hood or trunk also. Body repair would likely be costly, and I don't believe it's big enough for a lease-end charge.

Thoughts on repair??

ouch, that is deep. Repair shop $750-$1kish.
You may be able to suction cup the dents out but appears the paint is down to the metal there.

Oh no! Unfortunately my guy is out west right now (Calgary I think) working on a bunch of hail damaged cars. I don't think he's going to be back for a few months. Do you have a detail shop that you deal with? Often times they know someone or can sub out the work.

I have a couple options... so crappy! I mean it’s going to happen but I treat my cars like babies! Are you taking your “spirited” drives around the escarpment?

I actually took a good drive today around the escarpment! Probably one of the last nice days before the snow starts to fall.

Had to kill some time as I was getting the Q7 paint corrected and ceramic coated...wife is happy now 👍🏻

You read my mind. I'm going to be tinting them soon. If I can find body colored wrap, I'll do that. Some new summer wheels are on their way as well (satin black). My wife is getting into this, which is awesome!

PDR tech can glue pull and knock down the crown and he may even know a solid touch of tech.

I was going to suggest black rims but I wasn't sure you'd want to do it since you said it was your wife's car. But yes. A murdered out SUV will look smashing!

She's going to use the stock 20's as winter wheels (they have winter tires mounted right now), and we've got some 22" Vossen's coming. Similar to these but matte/satin black

I've seen something similar on a BMW. Those rims looked stunning! Can't wait to see pics when you get it on your Q7!
