Hi, i have g20 330D 2019 model. Since my purchase i have never really seen the headlights (both the lights in each Dome) to light up once i start the engine. While driving also i dont think both the lights(LED Headlight) in each Dome light up. Is it default by every car or is it just my car??

I have seen other BMW cars where both LED Lights in each Headlight light up and it obviously brings more brightness compared to single LED functioning.

Is it of a concern ???

You only get both lights in each housing to turn on if you have laser lights. Otherwise the inner lights are duds and don't function

Shit, that"s a real turn down feature from BMW for 3 Series specially for a fully loaded car(i mean i have almost all the functions incluiding Sport seating/leather seats/glass roof top to name a few....)

i agree that i dont have laser headlights, but BMW should have given an option to enable both lights in each headlight to turn on(atleast as an option to enable or disable it)....

Any hacks possible here ?

Someone modified a G05 X5 to do just that.

I was also curious about this. They should have at least used the inner lens for the high beam, or passing lights. Now you have me curious on what it would take to modify them. I've done something like that w my sons truck, but way less involved than the BMW.
