[With BONUS] How to drive a leased BMW in a different EU country?

Hi,

I'm form Spain but I've been living and working in Poland +2 years. I bought a 330i in Poland with leasing (will have Polish plates) and in few months I'm moving to Spain due to a job offer.

How can I drive the car legally in Spain?

According to Spanish law, the car should get new plates in Spain, but since I'm not the legal owner, I cannot register it in Spain. BMW Leasing is the owner and it appears in the car documents as such. BMW doesn't offer any restrictions regarding driving it in any EU country, but they don't allow for changing the plates.

Is there an exception for leasing cases?

Any experience regarding this case in other countries is also welcome.

Thanks in advance.

[BONUS] For those of you having your G20 produced in January in Mexico, this might be our ship which departed from Veracruz and is already on the way to Germany
