I was so hoping that that giant grille was going to be for the coupes and grand coupes only.

Not looking promising

Fashion seems to always revert back. Large eyeglass frames became small frames and are not back to large frames. Ties were wide, then narrow and back to wide. Lapels.......Well you get the idea.

Whatever it is, you can’t see the pronounced muffler.
Could they be testing the MPE?
I think its a simple explanation - if you look closely at the rear tires you can see that sometimes the panel overhang looks incomplete where the quarter panel would meet the bumper piece and other shots its fully flush and wide as youd expect (seen in the cases where the muffler is less exposed).

Conclusion - those just have the proper M3 rear bumper on them now which is wider and lower, the others didnt and it exposed more muffler hang.

Man, the sound of that LFA! If they plumbed that into my M3 I might not have disconnected active sound.

No need to try judge its size by looking at a test mule. Instead simply go look at a G20 3 Series. It is exactly the same size as that vehicle. Can the G20 be accurately described as almost the same size as a 5 Series? I don't know, it sounds debatable, but we aren't going to debate it here. Either way, yes, we know the G20 grew in size from the previous generation, just as every new generation has in the past. But we've had plenty of time to come to terms with that fact since G20 pics/specs were made public nearly a year ago.

The 3 series is as big as its competition, we got to get over it, that's how the development goes.

I'm more confused than ever. One seems to have the current grill we see on the new 3 series and one seems to be different.

Looks great in the corners for a (5) passenger sedan.
This car, could be a great all-rounder!

as im looking at it every day, its getting more and more bearable. dont get me wrong, i still dont like it. but i figure ill eventually be ok with it. i plan on a ED for a g80 when the LCI comes out. it will be one of the last manual 4 doors available at that time.
M2 competition or CS, M5, or another F80

Or Alpha Romeo, or AMG
