Hi there,

does someone know which poweder HRE and Edelweiss use for their color Frozen Gold?
It´s a plain powder and not the same color like BMWs Frozen Gold from the 763M wheels.

I already had contact to Prismatic Powders because the list HRE under Colletions, but they don´t know the exact color and only made some guesses.

The manufacturers may have a proprietary color so it wont be shared with customers.

Have you browsed the prismatic website and sorted by color?

Check out a few of them and search for their color on instagram to get a real life look at them. Im sure you can find something close.

Maybe performance gold or champagne gold might be good options. I know they are trying to emulate frozen gold in this thread

Yeah i already had this thread but the sample from a local powder coated wasn´t even close to the pictures.
The problem isn´t to know what color was used but how it was applied...
I even found someone who could do a real frozen gold effect with powder glaze instead of wet paint like the original 763M wheels.
But it would cost 1500 EUR in total and he can´t guarantee how it´ll look.

Most of the companies i asked don´t want to share this information.

The company you linked on instagram said it´s a special mix and then they stopped answering :-(

Just showing some color variations they offer- it seems they offer champagne and frozen. Also i might get a set of wheels coated in champagne gold. I will let you know…
