i'll take my 430 any day. I get compliments all the time. I never got them with my f30. The G20 looks so similar to the f30 to the average person, I doubt they could hardly pick them apart. This is the danger of just regurgitating design year after year....

FRS/BRZ fits your criteria if you're in the USA. UK should have more choices for small analog cars.

How long have you been hibernating? You can't be a BMW enthusiast to just now having this epiphany. The C43 gets quad exhaust like the C63, BMW still saves that as an M exclusive along with countless other features.

Anyhow! it's ridiculous and petty to be bothered by something this trivial. If you want exclusive buy an LFA, McLaren F1, Carerra GT or something like that. M cars are mass produced automobiles, not meant to be exclusive to a select elite few.

We all know car manufacturers exchange parts but now they are taking it to the next level by slapping some key design elements like the M mirrors on cheaper models. Before use to be some minor things here and there but now BMW will put anything on any model to maximize profit. Like I said a win for the 3 series.

I doubt that the average person besides a BMW enthusiast would know that the M mirrors were exclusive to M models.

So true. M owners cry about diluting the brand and on the other side, BMW try to milk 3 series customers by adding these parts. This is done by all OEMs to maximize profit in whatever they do.

People should understand reality and move on.

I would think BMW owners would be cool with this considering the M340i is faster and better than anything in its class just like the G80/82 is better than it's competition in its class. Instead you have some M owners mad that the Lite M gets a carbon roof and an M badge lol. First world problems.

Believe it or not, he's not wrong.
While you and I feel that the G20 is a very different car from the F30, the "average" person does not see that.
My wife could not tell that I had a loaner G20 for days while it was sitting in the garage in the place of my F30 (same color)

As a M2C owner I'm not complaining but just saying that the specialness of the M brand is fading away. To me, personally I would pick the M340i LCI over the outgoing M3C. It's easily $30K cheaper and for daily practicability it's a better ride, especially now that it has some more M cosmetic elements. Will be interesting to see the chassis and steering improvements.

Does anyone know if there's an option to order with dynamic dampers? And if yes do you recommend this option over the static fixed suspension?
