Racechip on the m440i
Interesting as it's the b58 with mht where as the m340 video wasn't. Std was 405hp and then up to 442hp. I know dyno runs are not 100% accurate but I do wonder what power these engines have. Once I have a few k miles under its belt I really would like to get mine dyno'd and invest in a racechip. I do also appreciate these videos are designed to make people like me say things like above and keep them in business. |

Interesting what you say on the power figures - my M2C is 400hp and weighs at least 200kg less than my M340i (with MHT), and i'm absolutely convinced my M340i is as quick in a straight line.

Manufacturers do seem conservative with their outputs. Watched a dyno run of a new Golf R with del miles and it's making 340bhp - should be 316bhp so no wonder they are doing 4 secs flat on 0-60 runs!
