330e intermittent acceleration issues

Okay so picked up my new 330e to replace my G20 320d, love it except one issue, the acceleration!
Sometimes its head to the back of the seat fast, other times it gets off the line quickly but then struggles from 30 to 50mph or say 50 to 70mph! In sport/xtraboost with full battery and sports gear change.
Its like the engine goes up to 6000rpm but theres no real power and the engine is making hardly any noise!
Then you usually get a surge of acceleration when it's too late!
Any ideas?

I had this exact same issue this morning! It felt like the car was in 7th gear at 20mph yet I was in 3rd and it had zero go in it.

75% battery and half a tank of petrol.

This isn't the first time either

Glad it's not just me! I was wondering if the electric motor or engine hadn't kicked in, just seemed to slowly rev all the way up to the redline with little acceleration and noise!

I might try a few tests with gears in normal and sport to see if it makes and difference!?

Just to add I had the transmission in M/S also - Full kickdown whilst in 3rd gear doing 20-30mph.

It took forever to reach high revs (I had a Revo tuned Mini Cooper JCW on my arse)

On my previous 2016 330e the car seemed to have a hiccup at around 35 mph. I think it is the fact that BMW is using the electric motor in place of the torque converter.

I have noticed the same behavior. I have studded tires during the winter and I was a bit disapointed in the power of the car, but then I noticed that the DSC was stealing alot of power. Turned it of and it became a beast.
However I also noticed the behavior you describe above when the ICE is not warmed up. It seemed to have less power during the first X-boost pull (with DSC off). Maybe there are some limitations to full power during the first seconds of ICE starting?

Ok so definitely looks like it's the 1st time you give it the beans in sport mode, had it the last couple of days, works fine after!
DSC off, xtraboost, sports gearing and a little run in before hand, pretty sure it's less than 5.9sec to 62!😃

Managed a screen shot of a video 0-62mph, looks like 5.3 seconds which isn't too bad!
