BMW is beyond stupid in the way it advertises certain options. I bet ya a lot of people would've got the wireless charging had they known it came with enchanted BT. Besides the 2 phone pairing, you also get text and emails on your Idrive screen , that you can read.And as far as album covers I thought standard bluetooth gave you that.I guess not. I honestly lucked out, I got this option just for the wireless charging, not knowing at the time about the additional BT functions. Also the Tire and Cooling Package on the m340i . No where did it mention anything about bigger brakes. Just extra cooling and Non RF tires. Im sure a bunch of folks skipped on it at first, not knowing upgraded brakes were included.

Even worse, at least in Germany, they dropped this option from the "Navigation Package Connected Drive" and (by extension) "Business Package Professional" packages, it was part of the former for the F3x. So people tick one of those packages thinking they get everything important infotainment-wise with it, and then realize they don't have enhanced BT...

I agree. I couldn’t find anywhere in the literature on the website or the ordering for that enhanced BT was part of the wireless charging package. It wasn’t until I came to this thread did I notice that and then confirmed with my SA. It was only an extra $3 a month to my payment so I added it.

Lucky my SA is patient because I added the parking assist package and remote start at the last minute and he sent me new paperwork to sign off on and I saw this thread and added it so he had to redo all the paperwork again.

Looks like unless you want to actively connect more than 1 phone and use some of these nuanced features, you may not really be missing out on much.

It pretty much sums up everything that I found while researching Wireless Charging and Enhanced BT. I'm almost 100% sure that the software for this feature in G01 X3 and G20 should be pretty much the same.

Bottom line: enhanced BT can be coded almost entirely, only the hardware bits will be missing. This includes second microphone for co-driver and second USB port in the armrest compartment.

The only thing I would change on my 330 M Sport Plus is the colour scheme - it has every option pack plus Driver Assist and advance park assist so other than a towbar there's not much I could add.

I was going to order a new car in a dark silver or maybe Dravit Grey with a pale cream interior and black or fine ash trim - but a near new one came up in black (fantastic when clean, looks filthy when dirty) with to my mind a somber black interior at a price I couldn't refuse so I can live with it.

Not keen The the aluminium stuff on the big cubbly hole where the phone charger is so I guess that is the one thing I would change. It feels better than it looks.

I got a base 330i. This is not something I can change by re-ordering but i wish the standard car came with some beefier tires. H rated 225/45/18 Pirelli P7 Cinturato run flats cant really keep up with the G20's chassis and suspension set up. (Even the base version) A ultra high performance a/s tire (Pirelli P zero, michelin pilot sport a/s) would have been been a better fit. But i'm guessing that would have cost the car 1 mpg in EPA ratings. Can not believe the the m340i base gets the same 18 inch tire set up. Sounds downright dangerous.

Didn't order my Msport but if I had I would have gotten the open pore oak trim, mocha seats, and 18" wheels instead of the 19"

Otherwise no complaints.

Why 18s over the 19s? I believe you can't get the staggered setup in the 18s, so 19s is the better choice but still curious?

The white was never on my agenda, At the time I wanted either Portimao blue or Mineral Grey. Next time I will do a custom order and get the color I wanted which was Portimao blue on Mocha with the summer non run flats Michelin tires. I would also get the M performance Exhaust, side skirts, front splitter and gloss black rear diffuser etc. I have non of those, next time I will do a custom order to get exactly what I want. No more compromises.

If I had to order my M340i again I'd stick with Sensatec; however, I now realize you can get ambient lighting with it, it becomes a standalone option when you don't get leather which I didn't notice at the time.

I also decided to stick with the base HiFi system because it sounded good to me on the dealer lot. It does sound good but when moving or with the windows open I need 70-90% volume for a good listening level. So I'd go with HK, not because of sound but power.

I always order the car I want. The only car I took off the lot was my 2017 M3 competition. I was there with my 2016 M getting the oil changed. It had just arrived. They pulled the blocks out of it, pealed the plastic off and I drove it home lol.

You one lucky guy. I got this one from Texas and trucked to me here in South Florida. If I could have found a good deal locally I would have made. a better choice lol.
