So my CarPlay has decided to stop working altogether.

It worked fine a few weeks ago and now just refuses to connect.

Anyone else currently experiencing the same issue?

Have you tried resetting your phone and also iDrive (long press power button)? This seems to fix the problem.

Have you tried resetting your phone and also iDrive (long press power button)? This seems to fix the problem.

42 deg today and car decides it couldn't be bothered to set a ventilation time remotely

Is this resolved? Ive just got an M340i and discovered that you need to set up your personal driver profile before 3D remote services work. It wont work on the Guest profile. I guess that makes sense as you need to log on to your connected drive app to use 3D remote so it will only work with the same driver registered to the app.

Are they still using that line "it'll be fixed by tomorrow" they told me that back in July when I took delivery of mine

Started working again mid-afternoon yesterday while driving - RTTI finally appeared again mid-journey as too weather.

I’m sorry to hear of your issues but if it makes you feel any better we’ve had big problems with Connected Drive. I’m on the latest 11/2019.40 software but the BMW Portal and Connected Drive App ( two star rated on Apple App Store) is at best meh and at worst total wank.

All my services are now working perfectly after the dealer updated the software. The graphics have changed and even the instrumental cluster map graphic is no longer just lines, has proper building maps etc.

Yeah looks much better I received the centre map change in my update to 07/2019.75

Not a lot of other notable changes other than enhance to existing features. Apps are now all coloured and Hey BMW assistant has menu changes everything else seems to be going well

Since the update the BMW connected app works perfectly now. Even 360 view works every time. Not that I use the app that often but it's good to see it's a priority to have it working

Do you receive any errors? Or does it not work. What worked for me after the OTA, was to completely delete the iOS app then redownload and sign in.

It looks like the 360 view process isn't doing anything initially but it just takes a few minutes to push on through

Tried again last night and it worked! Not sure what value it adds, but at least we are slowly getting there with functionality.

Finally after 8 months of ownership I can say for the first time that all the connected drive functionalities are working. This is after a software update to 11/2019.41 at the dealership. I can also now subscribe to the drive recorder through the connected drive store. 😊

Glad it's all working for you. Mine had been extremely stable at 03/2019.60 so will see what my new update brings.

The one thing i was hoping for was proper Spotify integration, but now with ACP for life I'm not sure I care so much.
