I just now flipped back to IN TRANSIT so I must be loaded onto the boat and heading to the US. I just called Genius to get the ship name but of course they are closed today for the holiday.

Looks like my 330e just left Mexico this morning and is headed to Port Hueneme, California. Anyone know what ship that might be and how I can track it, since Genius is closed today for the Labor Day holiday?

Called Genius Friday and they couldn’t tell me anything, they couldn’t say if there was a work stop on it or nothing. I am tracking certain ships and there is one scheduled to arrive in Mexico at 2:30 my time to come to Texas so maybe fingers crossed it will update then. The next ship out is at the end of September.

Mine flipped from Ready for transport to In transit quickly. Doing performance center delivery.


BMW website tracking changed to in transit yesterday 9/5

BMW Genius told me initially it left 9/5 and is scheduled to arrive today 9/6, I said that sounded strange and she looked into it farther and then told me it 'actually left the port 9/2'. She told me the vessel name and I looked it up, tracking says it left 8/31.

In other words, it seems like the website and the genius hotline are not in sync with reality. Those waiting for it to ship might be looking at old information so when the system changes it might already be most of the way to the port.

Performance Center delivery is yet to be scheduled, according to the genius line it should be scheduled this week.

Oddly, I received a notification that my order was in transit as of 9/5. Then I checked again today, 9/6, and it says that my order is at the port. Seems like there is confusion across the board.

The tracker status reverts to 'At Port' once the vessel arrives to US port.

It starts at the export port, goes to in transit on the way to the import port, then its at the import port and then its in transit to the dealership. They reuse the port and transit locations on the tracker. Fast boat ride if it only took 1 day... maybe youre lucky

Gotcha. The port was in Brunswick, GA. So, it's a short ride from Mexico.

Ship is Deneb Leader, 9/9 arrival at Oxnard CA. But marinetraffic ship tracker says 9/7 Long Beach CA. Genius hotline said it will arrive at the port and and stay on the ship or hop on a new one, he wasn't sure and I will need to call back later this week to get new updates.
