Did you really just base Kobe owning LBJ on an all-star game??? Gtfo you lost all credibility there, one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard from a butt hurt hater

Credibility?... Like you are one to judge....

I have nothing against LBJ but Kobe is 2nd best player ever after MJ... And LBJ will be 3rd... If anything

Bron is the only #1 or #2 in the league that CAN and WILL box out 4's and 5's to grab rebounds...

why !?!? because Bron is built like JJ WATT !!!!!

Let's trust your judgement saying "Kobe owns LBJ" based off of an All-Star game lol pls. Also saying Kobe is 2nd best player after MJ might be accurate atm but Kobe is declining and LeBron is still in his prime so try controlling the hate and reserving your judgement till he's retired.

Kobe is finesse... Smooth and skilled.... Lebron is more of a linebacker... His plays, shooting stroke is just brute...

I so think that both players flop and get the calls most often.... But I gotta say.... 'Lebroning' is really gonna hurt him...

1 on 1, Kobe might beat Lebron.

But who cares, that's one on one. In a regular 5 on 5 game I'll take Lebron, the guy who can do everything, over Kobe, who can just score every time.

This is the era of Lebron, as it was the era of Kobe before, MJ before him, and Magic/Bird before him.

LBJ is the best player in the league now, but this discussion is completely hypothetical.

Right now LBJ would own MJ, Kareem, and Larry Bird all in one night, those guys probably pee 4 times a night, but that's not what we're discussing.

yeah, and it's amazing to see that with that all that brute, he can still shoot at 57% from the floor, 36% behind the arc and still average over 6 rebounds and assists.....

the guy never gets hurt - he misses a game or two here and there, but he has never been shelved for long periods of time....

There has NEVER been a player like Bron in the league: a 6'8" 275lb SG that can pass like an elite PG and that voluntarily boxes out bigs down low...

Kobe was pretty much a copy of MJ (and pretty much a copy of every single 6'7" 210lb SG in the league before him)...and just let the record reflect that I think Kobe is a phenomenal player in his own right - from @ 1998 to 2005 he was the most dominant player in the NBA since MJ...

but Bron.....oh Bron......he's a one of a kind player that comes by once every generation...up until now, no one has ever seen a freak show like Bron play basketball.....his size, his mobility, his elite skills and his ability to win championships by making clowns around him better....I mean, this dude took a Cleveland Cavaliers team to the finals a couple times - go look at that roster and then choke on your own saliva as you laugh at the personnel he had around him....

I'm sure there will be another player like him in the future, and if so, they will be comparing him to "Bron" from this era....

but right now, Bron puts his head phones on and listens to "so you can go tell everybody, you can go tell everybody.....I'm the man I'm the man I'm the man...yes I am yes I am yes I am..."

I'm with Litos on this one. You take the left nut and I'll take the right.

Had the chance to read Phil Jackson's 11 rings yesterday to learn more about Jordan and Kobe in the eyes of Phil. My take from the book is that Kobe is probably the most selfish player in the league that cannot better his teammates and is mostly uncoachable. Kobe always wants to be Da Man even when the most dominate player Shaq (in his prime) was on his team.

Bron from what I've seen in the past 10+ years is that the TEAM is more important than himself. He makes every player better on his team by sharing and caring for them. He single handedly took the Cavs to the finals. He trusts his teammates enough to pass them the ball ALL the time, even during crucial moments. I honestly think Lebron couldn't care less about who's a better 1on1 player. Its a team sport and you need a team to win championships. When a team has good chemistry all the time, it grows to be something a lot more special.

Of course, you could still debate whether who has more rings but come on...lets get real. 1on1 I'll pick Kobe because that's all he does. As a player of the game of basketball in the NBA, you really won't find another Lebron. Guys like this comes once in maybe 100 years. Up to this point, I think KD is even a better player than Kobe if you want to determine who's better based on pure scoring ability.

Zen Buddhism bitch, Phil outz.

like what ESPN said about him: he's the most team-first elite scorer in the league...

also, from 2006 to 2013, Bron's shooting percentage has INCREASED every year.....

from 47% to 57%. freaking 57% from a guy that averages 26 or 27 points a game !?!?

Bron DEFINES EFFICIENCY !!!!

Interesting! So you guys are up to 5 pages comparing two players from completely different eras? There is no winner here, nomatter which way one spins it. A lot of variables have changed: rules of the game, level of competition, average player size, talent level of team mates, etc. Any inclination towards one player is just that: bias. The younger guns will normally always go for the one they have experienced whereas the older generation are passionate to the stars of their time. It's the same with Pele-Maradona among soccer fans, or Bolt-Carl Lewis among athletics fans.

Lebron would probably break that rim every time he dunked it. How is it even possible for that rim to stay horizontal throughout a game?
