Camera retrofits finished yesterday and assigned a carrier today to be delivered to the dealer on 8/22. It's almost over... 3+ months... Technically 4-5+ months since I finalized the deal at the end of March but the order wasn't put in until an allocation was acquired to make sure my incentive locks didn't expire. I'm glad I didn't fold and get something else.

Can you share how long it took from the car arriving at its destination port to installing the cameras? The reason I ask is that my car arrived on the 10th of August and also needs the camera retrofit.

Arrived at Port on (7/24) and processed same day at VPC. Work order for the car started on (7/29) and finished (8/18).

I ordered on July 28th and its arriving (at least at the port) tomorrow. We all seem to be from NOVA and we all seem to be on the same ship, should take a convoy up (I'm assuming we are all going to Reading?). Its almost here.

Wow......what happened between 8/06 and 8/22?.....my M440 RWD Convertible started 3 days ahead of yours with a 7/13 Order and was at the port on 08/06. Sat there for 2 weeks until finally getting on a ship....

I don't know. For some reason my build week got pushed from 31 to 34 about 10 days after the order. It may have been parts availability. There's no way it was actually in the body assemble phase for two weeks.

I'm headed to Reading but my VIR says the POA is NYC (on 8/30) and not Philly or Baltimore. I reached out to the dealer today and they told me they are doing an extremely high volume ATM with 90% of the cars coming in pre-sold. They warned it could take up to 5 business days after it arrives to get prepped for delivery.

Reading is kind of a PITA to get to using public transit. The best I've figured out is Amtrak to Philly and then to Lancaster or Coatesville and then Uber to Reading from there.

That's pretty encouraging- from order to production in less than 2 weeks. My 8/17 order is on a similar estimated schedule for production to begin on 9/6. Fingers/toes crossed.

I'm happy to get the car built with supply chains what they are, but it hasn't been fast by any means.

Production took four weeks.
I was told the car was scheduled for week 31, then it got pushed three weeks.
Given the time it took other orders that were placed at about the same time, I'm not particularly pleased with it. It may not be anybody's fault and I'm not complaining. I'll be happy to see it whenever it arrives.
