Hey together,

I'm thinking about whether the software is worth the $99 for me. I only found little informations on their website. Maybe someone already using the software can help me and answer my questions.

• From what I've read, ESYS is required. Do I also need a suitable launcher for ESYS, e.g. B. Token Master?
• Where can I get the corresponding cheat sheets or how do I find out exactly what I have to code for a desired function to work?
• In the past I only coded 1 feature in ESYS by following specific instructions. Can you break your control unit by clumsy or incorrect coding? How does a control unit react when you code some feature that your car can't active because missing equipment?

1) No Launcher is needed, BU replaces Launcher.
2) Most Cheat Sheets are located on GitHub repository:

3) No. If coding produces undesirable results, just recode with original values. If coding a feature lacking required hardware, coding will either complete successfully, but feature simply wont work, or FDL coding will just fail to complete with a NotExecutable error.

No, they are few and far between.

I'm using Esys with BU.
Works fine but still have some bugs.
For example this one.
I'm trying to enable TLA and LCA on a G08 Lci with 21.11 software and Psdzdata 4.34.25.
But when I select and apply the cheat codes this is the result (Obviously nothing works.)
Any advise ?

What's not working? BU is not applying cheats to .ncd file, or it is but when you you code car with resulting .ncd, TLA and LCA still do not work?

Good point. Let me explain better
I enabled everything ( aSLA, TLA, DAP HIghtway, DAP Emerency lane ) from BU cheat interface
I coded car with resulting .ncd modified by BU.
I reloaded SAS3 000042c1_003_005_006 and you can see the result.
Strange to look at same function enable and disable at the same time.
TLA and LCA still do not work.
I can select both from Idrive menu but nothing happen

Ok, but this has nothing to do with BimmerUtility not working. BU did it's job.

In this case, the coding does not work on your car, meaning either car is not capable of these functions or the cheat FDL Codes are incorrect, or incomplete. You are coding only SAS Module. Is that all that is needed for aSLA, TLA, DAP Highway, DAP Emergency lane? No Head Unit coding or other ECU's too?

Cheats options seems to be embedded on BU. I wrote to support@bimmerutility.com and they just told me that those cheats are coming from Almaretto.
About BU you are right, BU works ( also if it seems that part of this NCD file is still cripted). But le me say that to have the possibility to FDL without knowing what modify it's not the best.
Back to LCA, yes , also MGU and Body must coded:
- HU_MGU (3E52)\Spurwechselassistent gen_1
- BDC_BODY3 ( 7083)\activ
- SAS3 (42C1)\C_SWA_Vorhanden NR001_VORHANDEN

UNBELEGT is not a Trimmed FDL Function (Crypted). UNBELEGT comes from BMW AG meaning that Address is Unused / Unassigned.
