Any one else have the same issue as the following.

When driving with the wheel dead ahead any movement left or right needs a bit more pressure than I remember when new. It feels like theres a notch left or right of dead ahead. Once past the initial resistance it’s fine.

All driver aids are turned off so not that.

I’ll book it in to bmw but wondering if anyone else had similar.

I get this! It’s very annoying. Notchy is exactly how I’d describe it.
I meant to mention it when it went in for its service but forgot. I’ll be interested to hear what they have to say to you about it.

Update to this.
Car went in to BMW, no fault found.
They updated the firmware for the EPAS and it seems to have lessened it so that it doesn't annoy me enough to take it back in.
When its in for a service again in the next couple of months I'll ask them to look at it again.
