v.4.34.20_PSdZData_Lite is latest, released last week. Unless dealer programmed car in last 7 days, you don't need the latest.

Hi Shawn,

So I have a G20 330e and I'm new to the forums and new to coding. I'm hoping to try coding a few options using E-sys.

I've just today ordered an ethernet to OBD2 cable which should hopefully be delivered soon.

I have been following this thread for a little while now, I notice you seem to be the go to for help with the links for the various bits of software to get up and running.

Assuming you have the link to all the files necessary to start coding, please would you be so kind to send them to me/send the link?

If this isn't the case please could you advise what additional software, licences etc I would need to get up and running.

Thanks for your response, I believe that is due to the fact that I am new to the BMW forums and require 4 posts before I can use the PM system which seems a bit crazy that I have to do that before my account is upgraded and I can then receive PM's. I have since posted a few genuine questions on various threads in the hope that in 1 hour from posting this message it should allow you to send me a PM.

If this still doesn't work after 1 hour, please advise how to enable this as I'm sure this is enabled within my actual account settings, have you ever come across this before with other's?

I have today attempted my first bit of coding, so far I have connected to my G20. Read and saved the FA and ecu data.

I followed a couple of tutorials particularly surrounding coding lane change assist and when accessing the BDC_BODY3 module. However when reading coding data it doesn't come up with SVT compare, just edit FDL and when searching for example SPURWECHSEL_ASSISTENT i get no search results back.

Is it that because I have a 2020 G20 330e the E-sys software / launcher versions are outdated or is it me being a nube .

Thank-you for your help so far, I'm certainly a step closer and becoming more familiar with the software than I was yesterday.

If you or some other could please advise on how to get that next step further, it would be greatly appreciated.

Edit FDL is normal for E-Sys 3.27.1 No issue there. In newer E-Sys, it is SvtCompareView.edit.fd.name.

Is BDC_BODY3 CAFD file Trimmed (missing all descriptive text)? Post picture of CAFD in FDL Editor.

Yes Trimmed. And Instructions you received with E-Sys explained that for Gxx car, E-sys Launcher Pro 2.8.2_Build_162b BFU Edition most likely would not work, and you needed alternate solution. If not, PM sent.

I have esys plus 4.0 a try today with a newer version of esys and was successfully able to code the car.

I have the same issue when trying Coding FDL in G30. Could you send proper links to download software for G30?

Had no issues with plenty of F series models.
