Hey everyone, Checking back in with you on how things ended up.

So BMW did a full inspection of the car and actually found a manufacturing defect, a HV cable had been pinched in the battery and eventually the outer insulation layer failed and the pyro fuses went boom.

They replaced the whole battery and HV system at no cost!

Thank goodness! Glad it worked out and BMW did the right thing (in my experience after many BMWs that's usually been the case).

Any idea what that cost…surprised they didn’t just trade you out for another car. Glad all worked out well. BMW did the right thing…
