Could not possibly say this any better.

BMW could make a ton of money if this car had been relaunched with an engine and suspension from the new M5 while everything being kept intact.

I like Cammisa as well, I don't understand the strong feelings so many have against him.

It’s funny, he says in the video how BMWs new cars are objectively good, they just don’t do anything for him personally.

It’s because BMW’s of today lack emotion and feel than those in the past. Yes, in terms of automotive progress, BMW’s are one of the best in terms of providing an excellent car overall but unless you go full M (maybe not even that unless there’s a CS/CSL), the experience is pretty much sterile. Fast, but sterile.

He gets a little 'schticky' in the videos that he does on his own trying to be funny, but there's nothing funny about it. It's actually annoying and takes away from the content. You don't see that in this one because he's in the presence of Jay Leno and either consciously or subconsciously is toning that part of his delivery down. My $.02. This video is definitely worth watching.

I so agree with this. Yes new BMWs are not like old ones, but I actually find my new M340 quite exciting and I have e46 M3 as well, they complement each other. I really like Jay Leno and his passion for cars, but not sure about Cammisa. Just do not find his videos educational or interesting. Threre are others to watch like Harry’s garage or Ian Tyrrell or Chris Harris.
