Insane cracks in hot weather
If you leave your car for some hours at direct sun light, lets say 85F temperature outside.
Then you go for a ride, does your interior cracks like pop corn (clek clek clek) all over the interior? For me, the cracks comes for rear, panel, dash, all places. I'm amazed by the quantity of noises it makes. I have this brand new 330i for 3 weeks and never had a car that make such amount of cracks. If i ride when moderate or cold weather, the cabin is super quiet tough. Is it the same for you guys, or my car doesn't like summer? |

It's not uncommon, all your panels expand slightly under high temps, so when you get in the hot car, and crank up your a/c to lower the temperature of the cabin, the interior panels will begin to relax
My F32 does the same thing when it's been sitting out on a hot day |

I've had mine for 6 month and it seems to have settled down. Most of the pops come from the hard black plastic b pillar trim. |

Normal. I would say it's a sign of good fitment. The alternative would be few temperature related cracks and lots of rattles and such down the line. Old Mercs, new BMWs: excellent interior fitment, almost no rattling. Cheap shit like FCA products: turn the speakers off and see how long you last before you go crazy...

I really think I have to let this behind and enjoy the rest of the car. Thanks everyone for the feedback. |

My car just came out of the dealer and thats what they did. Originally there was like a banging sound as if something was lose and kept banging on something. Now it sounds like your shaking a container of tic tacs or as if a pen keep clicking in and out.
