New member here 👋 was this ever figured out? I have the exact issue, would love to know if there is a fix outside of disabling the power meter?

Every time you flash MGU, this parameter will reset to default ( which for some reason is the power meter not rpm).

It’s incredibly annoying, and no idea why it doesn’t save into your profile like all other settings

Hi there. I know this is an older post but did anyone ever solve this? I’m having the same exact problem. All I did was change a setting for the side mirror tilt. I tried doing a back up from the BimmerCode app and it still didn’t rectify the issue.

Was anybody able to get it fixed by having the dealership do a manual software update? Thank you! My instrument panel only displays the odometer info. The settings is missing the Engine display option.

Check status for these items. If it's all active, then most likely you tried to code head up display and main cluster as well. So if these items are “active” (most likely) you have to change status to non_active.

Its as simple as the above. If you always was revs just make sure thats whats showing when you code in the widget. Same for the power meter although not sure why anyone would want that personally.
