1st service today and a long time BMW owner why does it always feel car performs better after a service. Is it psychological or a temporary BMW reset.

I take mine to main dealers in London - always comes back feeling worse!!

By contrast my other car, at a marque indy, always comes back better.

Depends which dealer you use! Franchised or independent specialist.

Because in my opinion the distance between service intervals is too long. You will have big oil degredation and it’s noticeable when you get a new load of oil.
