BMW 848M wheels on G20 M340i RWD

Has anyone successfully fitted BMW wheel style 780 on a G20 M340i RWD? I am currently running 19" and would like to have a set of 18" BMW wheels for road trips. They would be more comfortable and protect the 19" wheel set from potholes.

At present, I have a set of aftermarket 18" winter wheels and they fit.

Hm, are the designation 848M different wheels in different markets?
I have 848M 18" staggered from factory on my M440i and they look like these:
https://www.alloywheelsdirect.net/bm...48m_wheel_6890.
Works fine, at least with my M sport brakes (think they are called sport as opposed to the larger "M performance")

You are correct on the brakes. I was wondering about the BMW wheel style number. The part number matches the wheel I showed though. Thanks for confirming the brake and suspension clearance on your M440i RWD.

I will correct my original post to show Style 780 instead of 848M.

Here is where I picked up "848M" from the BMW wheel part number 36116883522:
