Anybody have a link to the list of dealers that aren’t putting an ADM on it?

Think I might have a buyer for the NSX

Kerbeck, MacMulkin, Criswell. These are the top three and all charging msrp. I have my deposit in with Criswell since they are closest to me and Mike Furman has been very patient and always answered my questions honestly and promptly.

Hitched a ride to Cars and Coffee in my friend's completely unmolested, all original 1971 LT-1 coupe. Amazing. He is the original owner and even has the "Congratulations" letter from John Delorean.
Many were hopeful the new Corvette would be there yesterday, but it was thrilling to ride in the "71 LT1-a rare bird indeed.

Not sure of the other two, but it’s a $1k refundable deposit at Criswell to reserve, used toward down payment if you choose

I did really well with the NSX in the last five years, dove it and still made profit... I think it’s the right time to get rid of it as the new C8 seems like it’s going to effect a wide range of sports cars values new and used in the next few months.

Thinking about just sitting it out for a year and see what happens, but most likely will end up on a C8 when all is said and done

If you had indeed driven a C7 but still preferred the NSX, then I don't think you will change your mind about the C8. Fundamentally they are more or less the same mechanically abeit with the engine in the middle. The handling characteristic may be different with the new weight distribution but the mechanical feel won't be too different.

That's why I am still holding on my two old M cars. Maybe eventually get a 911 GT3 but it will take a lot to change my mind about the Vette.

I don’t know, I’d imagine that moving away from leaf springs and putting the engine behind the driver will make the car feel quite different.

I hope you're right. Hopefully I'll take a test drive soon and have a C8 in my garage

I don't think me driving a C7 would have anything to do with how much I'd still prefer the NSX or not....the C8 is on a whole nother level from the C7 in just looks alone.... the performance sounds like it is too.

I was never a Vette guy, until 7/18/19

I agree. I love Corvettes and have had at least one as long as I can remember. The new C8 is nice, and I will end up getting one at some point. But I would not sell your car to get into one if it was mine.

But you have something that is special and will be much harder to find as time goes by. Give it some time like you said.....wait a little and don't let emotion cloud your judgement. You wait long enough...you can have a C8 at some point and keep the NSX as well.

Dropped my car of at Vette Drs for work two years ago. The wife followed me there to give me a ride home. Got there when they opened up and she waited in the car while I talked to owner. At that time the guys there were starting 5 or 6 Vettes to start shuffling them around to start their day. The sound of all those V8’s roaring to life made her laugh called them bunch of angry beasts.

Agreed, the rear look is the Achilles heel for me also, way too damn busy. I can get past that though for everything else the car should offer. From all the other angles it’s a winner. IMO

I don't know who did these mock ups of HRE wheels on a C8 guess, but it would have been 1,000x sexier than what we got. If this rear end had been right, I'd be looking into sticking my kid seat in a C8.

One word: EV1. GM had tried production EV tech before. It failed. Besides: The Volt was a plug-in hybrid. Those existed in the marketplace before 2011. But I'll grant that it made the middle-tier plug-in EV niche viable.
The 914 was the first mass-market RMR mid-engine car. All others followed it: the Fiat X1-9, the Fiero, the MR2, and so on.

Yawn. That's like saying the K Car was Chrysler's first serious attempt at a compact car. Please. All Cadillac did was re-target its competition with a new lineup and a re-designed chassis. Toyota does that every 6-8 years.

Considering the Fiero lasted 1.5 generations and the Zx has now lasted four -- and its primary competition from Mercedes and Porsche has continuously been built for 22 years straight now -- I'd say not.
