Custom wake word triggering too often?

Hey everyone, any sensitivity settings or tips for setting the custom wake word? I naturally set the wake word to my car's name "Christy" so I'm using "Hey Christy!" and that works great.

However, I'll have random conversations in the car with my wife and see it try to navigate to weird things and such as if its being activated. Now, maybe its super sensitive and will pick out the wake word out of the middle of a sentence? Any ideas for me?

Thanks!

Yes. That happened once. I haven’t changed it in our BMW and it’s still “Hey BMW”. But once, my wife and I were talking about something and we did NOT say “Hey BMW” but something very similar (I can’t remember what it was though) and the car picked that up and responded.

Following up on my thread. I fixed my issue with a simple discovery.

The wake word, unlike the default "Hey BMW" is usually one word. That means that instead of saying "Hey Christy", it would trigger on just "Christy". BUT, you can set it to a phrase!

I manually entered the wake word as "Hey Christy", and now all of a sudden it is MUCH harder to activate by accident! Also, it appears to reduce the delay in waiting (since before it had to hear Christy before it actually began working on a command).

Hope this helps anyone who had similar issues!
