So I took my 2019 330 with 8,xxx miles in for service today and it seems it needs FOUR new tires!!?? Never ever have I seen tires wear so fast. The car sat 6 months of last year...

As this is a lease which goes back in 15 months. I won’t be turning it back into to dealer since I have so much equity in the car. The question is do I go ahead and just replace all the tires with OEM run flats, or do I go for the PS4’s OR something a notch or two down from the PS4’s? I know the PS4’s are the best but considering I’ve gone only 8k miles in almost 2 years most it either local driving or my 7 mile commute to work. Also I don’t plan on keeping the car past the lease term (will trade in or sell to a third party). Also being in Atlanta while we don’t get much snow we do get lots of rain most of the year.

So what do you guys think?

I doubt you will have positive equity in the car at the end of the lease. Better to just turn it in at lease end instead of trading it in, unless you sell it privately.
As for the tires, the OEM RFTs aren’t really cheaper than the PS4s.

You need a minimum of 4/32 IIRC at turn in. Else they'll ding you for new tyres. Mine were at 5/32 when I took them off at 7xxx or 8xxx miles. I got PS3+s and I frikkin love them. PS4s are better but for daily driving, the PS3+ works great. Plus I got a great deal. I've saved the OEM RFTs to put on when I return the car. When I went to get it checked out, the guy at the tyre shop was surprised and asked me if my car has done 7k or 70k miles (by looking at the tyre tread depth).

Order the runflats required at turn in from ebay used with 5/32 tread left and set them aside for turn in. You should be able to get them for $200 or so (I've done this with my last 4 leases). Buy better non runflats for you to use now. If you get PS4's, you can probably sell them used at the end assuming they're in good shape.

I also highly doubt you will have any equity in the car whatsoever.
