I installed My JB4 on my 21 m340 with catless downpipe. Yesterday I ran. Map 2 and now I smell a lot more gas. Does this mean the car is running lean?

BTW. I installed the catless downpipe on Saturday. So it's only been 2/3 days can it be that the smell hasn't mellowed out yet? Maybe over time it will stop smelling? Or can it be the jb4 causing the car to run lean?

I have a high flow catted downpipe and it definitely has a smell, my guess is if you are running full catless dp that is your source, doubt JB4 has anything to do with that. I was told that catless dp have strong smell...

Its normal to smell with a catless downpipe

I have AA, and I could smell a little on start up.

Also,I think you should be running map5 and not map2. There was a thread about this, and if running 93, you should be running map5. There are people experiencing bad pulls with map2.
