Problem mirror up in reverse

Hi everybody,

I’ve had a problem for a week, I did a complete cleaning of my vehicle and since then I’ve had a problem with my rear-view mirror.
At the beginning he did not want to close, after a few days he closes again but now in reverse the mirror goes up when it should go down.

Did anyone have this problem and solve it?

Thanks

Hey, few months ago i’ve had similar problem, after a carwash the passenger side rear view mirror stoped working, it totally lost power, but after few days it started working again and everything was back to normal. I’ve searched alot then and found that many people had similar problem and the dealerships changed some electronic components in the mirror. I suggest you to contact your dealer/service center.

Hello
Indeed as you said the problem lasted about 15 days and then back to normal. Fortunately, I had taken pictures of the error messages on the vehicle's screen.I will see with the car dealership what they tell me about it.

Hello everyone
I’ll be back with the information from the car dealership.

The diagnosis has fallen and I have to change the full rear-view mirror at my expense because the BMW premium warranty does not take in guarantee the electronics. (only manufacturer warranty vehicle >2 years) mine is from March 2019.

in total it will take €809 to repair the error displayed constantly on the screen

Yes, really disappointed with the mentality of BMW

To remove the error message I disabled the blind spot warning.

hello everyone
I give news about my problem of retrovisor. It is finally resolved by having spent nothing at all. They simply retrieved logs from the car about the error messages. Eventually they changed the electronic card, now everything is ok and taken in grief 100% by BMW
I saved 807€
