The latest spy shots seem to show that the G26 will come with flush door handles, just like the i4. Do you guys think the LCI G22 may come with those as well?

I for one loved the 440i GC due to its lovely and incredibly useful hatch rear (that doesn't look like one until you open it).

When the lease runs out on the M340ix, I will take a long look at the M440ix GC and add the MPE.

Seems like the best of all worlds for those still enjoying a sport sedan with added cargo capabilities.

Where is the gran coupe? The i4 has been shown and is available for pre-order. Did BMW forget the ICE version?

I'm wondering the same thing. Where is the GC?

The X3M and X4M facelift reveal is on the 9th, hopefully we see the 4GC and G87 follow after that. Or maybe they're going to hold back on the GC to get some orders in for the i4 first.

Thanks for confirming my theory, time traveler. What about the 2 series?

To me, the spy video and the EV show the new GC to be the existing 4 coupe with doors where the body panels are, same exact design concept as the F36.
Now that we can see all, do you still like the design? With the news that this new GC is 5.9" longer than the previous generation, they may have been successful at including some of what made the GT so useful in the rear seat space and cargo areas. Could be a win-win, although I am more interested in the i4 EV version, but as we have known....same body.

[Ha! I was just about to post this for you.....I think it's more of a win-win for us both, it's definitely not as sleek. The prior gen was merely a Coupe with two extra doors; this appears to be something else.]

Overlay of the Coupe and Gran Coupe for comparison purposes.

Recalling the differences years ago between the prior gen's, this GC is bigger in the back, a lot more differences in several locations, not as sleek as it used to be. The prior gen was merely a roofline change; this one is significantly more.

Outstanding graphic!

They may have hit that sweet spot overall (other than the front grille, of course, but I can back into the garage! )

When I see this, with the front seat backs already rearward to the b-pillar, the amount of rear seat legroom looks quite good. Hoping that the bike still fits with these folded down.
