Considering this is a "Introducing the 2022 BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe" topic, I assumed it was fairly obvious that we were discussing sedans...

Any word on when the G26 will be LCI'd or when it is due to receive ID8?

Thinking about ordering one of these before that happens.

I dislike the ID8 as well. It makes it look like EV to me. It was one of the reasons I picked the 4 over the 3 when I ordered

Seriously? The G26 / Gran Coupe is getting no love?

I ordered my 2023 430iX GC on December 29th, had allocation, found "Order Accepted" on 30-Dec and "Scheduled for Production" (WEEK5) on the 31st.

They have dropped the ZDH Dynamic Handing package and now tell me the Adaptive M Suspension is "currently unavailable" for the 234T model. Curious, since I can order any and all of these things for the i4-M50 which is also a G26-based model built at the same plant, and it has HUD in the ZPP Premium Package (go figure - no HUD available in the 430i of any kind).

I am told now that I can add Driving Assistance Pro package, which is good - and I did add it, but I'm seriously considering canceling and ordering an MY24 which is available on March 1st (pricing and ordering guide already posted in the ordering forum).

It has all these things except ZDH which will be available again starting in April but Adaptive Suspension works for me.

Totally agree - I hate the idea of having to enter a touch screen menu to turn on the darn heated seats. Sometimes the simplest solutions are still the best. I think the touch screen and I8 in general becomes more of a distraction while driving.

I ordered my G26 in December - in the paint booth right now. so far so good - I ordered every option except wireless charging since its sort of hard to get to...and wire charging in armrest is good for as phone is wireless to vehicle. This is my new DD and I need that adaptive suspension!!

Does yours still have the Adaptive M Suspension on the build?

You can use the F12 disassembly trick in Chrome to fine tune the details of exactly what goes into your vehicle.

I did, mine went from 2VF (Adaptive) to 705 "M Sport Suspension" the day before it went from "Scheduled" to "Production Begins" - tracking it in "My Garage" on bmwusa.com

Thanks for the tip! My commute is full of really rough roads and I am looking forward to having the advantages of the adaptive system.

My New G26! Love this Car!!

I have been a loyal BMW customer for many years. I have had many different BMW vehicles.....my F82 was one of my favorites. This new G26 has all of the same characteristics that made me fall in love with BMW's....and then some. It's my first hatchback and I am loving every aspect of it so far.

Looks amazing. What wheel model and size are those? Those aren't option on the G22 or G26 from what I can tell. I have the 20 inch option on my white G26 and was thinking of dropping to a 19 when I need new tires.

They look like 19 inch MY spoke Style 859M but instead of bicolor they are all black. Not a selection on BMW configurator.

I really like them!

The wheels are actually MY 2023 19" 861M - but powder coated Dusted Metallic Black. I did not like the bi-color stock set up. These have a nice metallic flake to them instead of just gloss black. The wheel design is "ok", but I am already looking at some forged alternatives. I want to open up the wheel to show more of the caliper and rotor. Richland Forged has some super sweet designs that are based on BMW OEM designs. Thinking of giving them a try.

Weird factoid for taller people. My son is 6'10" with a lot of length in his legs. With the seat all the way back and down, and the steering wheel in towards the dash and up, he fits comfortably.

With the seat all the way back there is zero leg room behind the seat.

I think that’s been true of the 3 series forever.

I had no idea and that is impressive.

We looked at a lot of cars that we could not buy because of the leg room. We also had to sell the "kids" car, 2015 Civic, when he hit 6'8" because he could not fit.

A little too much "sportiness". Really digging that color though.
