The US press release makes no mention of the M Sport Seats. Only that sport seats (regular seats) are standard. I doubt they will be offered...they've been left out of every North American model unfortunately.

This car does look great, and its nice that it has increased interior room over the previous F36.

However...NO extended wheelbase as was had by the previous 3GT.
So, maybe some extra room up front over the 3, but I'm guessing it will still be a bit cramped in the back.

That coupled with reduced performance over the 3:
BMW.de quotes 0-100kmh of 4.4 for the M340i, but 4.7 for the M440i GC. Also, lots of discount programs
discontinued as of late. While the hatch is a nice feature, you have to wonder whether its gonna
be worth the extra premium this time around...(and I'm sure there will be).

Well I do agree with you on the first part, but the GranCoupe has a hatchback so I dont see how the M340I would more practical? Also the M440I will have the frameless windows which is really nice lol

Yes but sloped roof line in the back meaning less head room for passengers.

I love the B58 and I see why there's a market for this car but I was just thinking out loud

I agree. I just wish that they would stop putting black plastic on the lower rear bumper. Pretty much every new BMW has it.

Had plans to wait for the GC but ended up buying the coupe and honestly prefer it over the GC on first initial impression.

I also really hope Arctic Race Blue is an available color on the GC. Saw an ARB on the road the other day and the paint is so unique!

Not really, but the CLA is the closest thing to the 4 door coupe Merc has in this price range. Just listed as a reference.

The photos. I'm asking why the photos feature the 430I with the M-Sport Seats, but the M440I just has the basic ones.

Regardless, we probably wont get them anyways in the US as always

It isn't an SUV, but I can fit a lot of 8 foot lumber in my 440 via the hatch...(and have over the past year).

With my GC I was able to fit in the back 2 turntables single cases, I mixer in single case, and 2 crates on records… without having to fold down the back seat.
I didn't think I would be able to do this when I first got the 1st generation of the 4GC.

But it was reiterated over & over again by the insiders (here & elsewhere), that BMW might combine some things between the 2 models since one was being discontinued. Like possibly using the extended wheelbase platform from what is now the 320Li/330Li in China.

Since no one could verify the measurement stats until now, things are a bit clearer.
