The red interior promises to be a best seller. Looks great. The wheels - not yet convinced. The front red calipers mean business. The rear red calipers - secretly want to look like the front ones.

I wonder if the stong, studly engineers at the ///M performance division would be willing to install a 3rd pedal for me, and be handsomely rewarded for their efforts.

Looks really good, I think. There is still an awkward amount of open plastic/surface space on the center console for my liking, almost like something's missing (or maybe it's the lack of texture?)...but otherwise this looks really impressive.

I can vouch for the fact that the M Performance lettering in the side skirts is a sticker which can be removed. Also remember that the alcantara steering wheel deletes the heated function, which seems a dumb trade off to me.

Drove a Ford rental with this active cooling in a snow storm. they got stuck and did not work properly for a few days. The idea is good but not in every weather and also involves more things to go bad. A properly passive cooling design is fine and worked for decades, and the aerodynamics gain is negligible. |

Love it. That steering wheel! I wouldn't go with the red interior personally but the interior looks great. The seats looks luxurious and sporty.

The tail lights look outdated compared to the rest of the car.

I'm sure that retrofitting the 330i M Performance grille will be a popular mod for the M340i, if possible.
Oh, and I will laugh at anyone that gets those M Performance decals on their doors. That's got to be made for the poor international students who can't afford Porsches. |

I agree. I think the top part that is always closed looks especially stupid. The plastic there looks really cheap in photos but hopefully is nicer / less noticeable in reality. I learned not to jump to conclusions with the M2 Competition seats, the blue / orange dots looked hideous in photos but in person they are extremely subtle and look pretty cool. We'll see how this M340i looks in the flesh soon.
