Gloss black M Performance Side skirts

The de-chroming & debadging of the exterior is complete. Only things left to do are paint-match the reflectors & paint the brake calipers.

Newest additions:
Powder coated M791 wheels - gloss black
OEM M Performance side skirts - gloss black
OEM black exhaust tips.

The side skirts come with a bag of pop rivets, but I chose to use 3M super strength moulding tape and self-tapping screws. Easier to remove than drilling out the rivets.

let me know how long those rear boomerangs stay on. I have those and they did not last a week. Do you have any pics of where the adhesive was applied?

I removed the attached adhesive and used my own 3M super strength automotive moulding tape. I also placed the tape closer to the edges. It's going to take some strength to get them off.

Hey JABCAT,

Looks really good! I have the same ones to install and wondering which 3M tape you used? Trying to determine best thickness. Is it holding up well?

BTW any interior mods?

Thanks

They look great but aren't they going to get sand blasted and scratched from passengers getting in and out like within first 1k miles?

Did you get them wrapped in PPF first?
