Interior Trim CF Vinyl Wrap

I finished wrapping the oak wood trim with CF vinyl wrap, have to say it looks amazing! This was my first time wrapping and it was much easier than expected.

Vinyl $10
Tools $10
Trim removal 20 minutes
Wrap process 90 minutes

Oh nice! Which brand of vinyl and was it anything special for interiors, or the standard external one?

I have that dratted piano black on my 330i Sportline which has got badly swirled.

The wrap is from VviVid (link below), they have various finishes from matte to gloss. I bought a 5ft x 1ft, and still have half a roll left.

I highly recommend you use a heat source and tug the wraps under the trim pieces for a clean look.

You both did a great job. Can I ask how they are holding up?

Also, alpineg20 , did you use vivid CF wrap as well or a different brand / finish?

My car sits outside everyday, the wrap looks like new.

When the vinyl is warmed and stretched, does it distort the pattern?

I used the Vivid CF wrap as well. The quality and finish is 10/10. There are a couple places where I didn’t get a good wrap all the way around the edge that I need to redo. 100% operator error and nothing to do with the wrap.

It will distort if you stretch it too much but just warming it up and getting a good wrap around the edges doesn’t distort at all. Pretty simple process. Just make sure you get it wrapped all the way around the back side. I messed up and tried to cut the wrap right along the edge on some pieces and it is starting to come up a little bit.
