Wheel barrel brush

Can anyone recommend a wheel barrel brush that fits between the barrel and the calliper on a M4 Comp on 20’ rims.I have a full set of Wheel Woolies and use the medium 1 but this won’t fit between the calliper.

Looking for something a bit flatter.

Have you ceramic coated your wheels? I use that and simple green wheel cleaner on cars I have had in the past. Then just rinse it off.

No wheels have no coating on them.I might start applying a spray wax on them to make cleaning them easier.

P&S Brake Buster is great on wheel dust, and you can dilute it around 5:1 to make it last longer (not required, you can use it straight from the bottle or container). Use a thin microfiber-sleeved brush, like this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BHXCF44B/

I was looking for the same thing. Unfortunately in the automotive world it doesnt exist. I own several wheel cleaning microfiber brushes (wollywormit & barrel blade) and they are too thick to fit inbetween the barrel and caliper. I found the duster brush below works, but it gets a bit flimsy when soaked with water. However, it does work! Good luck!

I have been using this one since my 2010 M3. Works great. Fits between the wheel and the 6 piston calipers on my X5M.

I've been using a similar one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C49X1C1W...roduct_details

For my Z4, but it is indeed thin and might be a candidate here. Comes with a few extra "sleeves" as well.

Hey, you want clean wheels or you want to be clean here?
Seriously, that style wheel brush is the best I've encountered for a tight clearance between wheel and caliper.

I wear a black T-shirt when I'm using my large or small SpeedMaster brushes! The Wheel Woolies-type do a good job as well. Sometimes it's worth it to just remove the wheel & tire from the car for cleaning.

I'm with you on that! All kinds of nastiness sprays back at you, including the chemicals that you are using.

Just about any size works to clean the barrel with the wheel off the car. You still need a brush small/flexible enough to hit the edges of the holes & spokes.

I use these for my car. I have the M Sport brakes, so 374mm front rotors and 4 piston calipers. They fit.

I use this small brush from Adams to get between the caliper and the barrel. Unfortunately, it's sold out now.

https://adamspolishes.com/products/a...ni-turbo-stick

For the rest of the barrel, I use a Woolly Wormit. It works really well but doesn't fit between the caliper and barrel on my 20" wheels.
