Check out our intake system! You can customize it with or without the lid, and choose between a blue or red filter to match your style.

I installed a CTS Turbo inlet and Intake, looks great sounds crazy! And no CEL or drivability issues. Had them on my 435i for 6 years with no problems as well.

MAD outsells Burger tuning intakes and CST? odd.

Anyways,

I have an aFe intake and highly recommend it, it's a full piece intake that outflows the OEM intake and has less chances of heatsoak because it's a closed design.

I think you first need to decide what is important to you looks or sound? Performance gains regardless of what you choose will almost be non-existent so it really comes down to if you want something a bit louder than stock that is pretty to look at under the hood (a fully enclosed carbon set up as an example) or sound (exposed open element). Once you decide that you can narrow down your options

Good luck and let us know what you end up with

You want a completely sealed intake with plastic piping, avoid anything metal. It gets very hot under the hood. With open and metal piping you're turbo will injesting very hot air, you will loose torque and hp.

I'm selling my intake in the engine classifieds: https://g20.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...8#post31473198
