BMW G22 4 Series Coupe Has Been Spied!
BIMMERPOST NEWS BMW G22 4 Series Coupe Has Been Spied! The next generation G22 4 Series Coupe prototype has finally been spied! According to the latest info from our future model info thread: The G22 is coming as expected in July 2020. It will mostly copy the G20 lineup - 430i RWD and xDrive, M440i RWD and xDrive. No manuals. The M440i will be 48V. And I will be surprised if we don't get an official press release by April. As with the current generation, the G22 4 Series Coupe will be joined in the 4 Series lineup by a convertible (spy pics) and gran coupe version (see BMW i4 spy pics, which show the gran coupe's body). May 26, 2020 -- G23 4 Series Convertible on the Nurburgring. May 13, 2020 -- M440i Coupe and Convertible In Action Updated April 21, 2020 with first look at M Performance Parts The G22 4 Series has now been spotted fitted with some M Performance Parts. This prototype features the usual M Performance front spoiler lip, sideskirts, brakes, and for the first time - wing canards on the front bumper. Updated April 9, 2020 with latest sighting of the G22 4 Series Coupe. March 18, 2020 The G22 4 Series prototype drops its major camoflage, revealing the kidney grilles we've seen exposed in recent leaked images and video. January 10, 2020 New video of the G22 4 Series Coupe at the Nurburgring, showing partially uncovered grilles for the first time. Click on image to view the video. VIDEO: December 9, 2019 Most revealing G22 4 Series prototype photos yet, with a close-up of the kidney grilles underneath the camo. November 11, 2019 Here is the G22 4 Series Coupe interior fully uncovered. October 18, 2019 Latest footage from the Nurburgring. August 12, 2019 First video action of the G22 on the Nurburgring! The silhouette looks good. I want BMW to reveal the front grills already. That will immediately tell me if I'm keeping my F82, or moving to the G-Series ///M4.

Like the 8 series. Roof slopes faster means less head room for rear passengers I do very much like the current 4 series silhouette. But hey, at least the tailights have a bit more character than the g20 3 series. |

It can perform awesome but if is ugly nobody wants it I am sticking with M3 it has wider hips and it's convenient for kids.

Technically the ///M4 is wider than the ///M3. It's the contours of the fenders than gives the ///M3 that bullish look.

It looks like we can already see the outline of the taillight in a few pics. It curves down and then goes straight which I think will look good. I wonder if it'll have different headlights from the G20 because of the grill

The rear roof slope angle looks to be between the e92 and F32.

The lights look like they'll be just like the 8 series which I think the 3 series should have had. I really don't like the rear end on the new 3 series and the new 4 series looks to resolve that. Maybe an M440i xDrive Gran Coupe is in the future.

It looks like the wheel arches are a bit more flared out than the f32 which is already a +

That's a good point I suppose. The 8 is a very handsome car. If the 4 looks like a baby 8 with decent front grills, there may be some hope for the mid-range coupe.
