The mesh part of the grill is at the top.

Personally , this Doesn't look much different from the M340. Yes there is an additional area below but that looks like it's primarily for cooling. Plus they still haven't figured how to get a radar sensor smaller than the size of a grapefruit. The plate in the middle breaks that up.


The bunmerpost render exaggerates the kidneys and has the odd central line. That's not there and the grill slats don't run the full length.

Me thinks they must have created their render with "hints " from @scott26 ...

We know the shape and size of the grills.

These grills but with a diamond pattern.

Because the grill is pushed forward compared to how the part in between is, a plate across these kidneys looks more awkward than a grill that was designed with the plate in mind (audi). In the photo the break is much more pronounced and very wide and obvious and will look awkward with a plate stretching horizontally across it.
